About Where Women Want To Work 2010

Now in its fifth year, Aurora's Where Women Want To Work initiative educates and inspires women about how companies attract, retain and develop female talent. Where Women Want To Work 2010 will showcase up-to-date information about how Aurora's client companies address the 'gender agenda' and what is on offer, so women can make informed choices about where to work and why.

2010 Company Submissions

Company submissions describe and explain their gender initiatives, achievements and what is on offer for women employees especially in terms of key advantages and opportunities. Submissions explain how companies attract, retain and develop female talent highlighting their key successes and achievements. Companies identify the most important issue/s they would like women to understand about their company and success to date. Companies submit information including case studies, statistics, practical examples, programmes, initiatives, quotes, report references. Please note, Where Women Want To Work 2010 is only open to Aurora's client companies.

2010 Guide

The Where Women Want To Work 2010 Guide features engaging information about what Aurora's client companies have achieved, their current gender priorities and key messages for women. The Guide is aimed at female interns, graduates, experienced working women, candidates, universities, industry and the media.

2010 Advisory Committee

The role of the Where Women Want To Work Advisory Committee is to influence the direction and success of the Where Women Want To Work 2010 initiative. The cross corporate Advisory Committee chaired by Aurora's Glenda Stone, is comprised of human resource directors and diversity and inclusion senior managers. Aurora is grateful to these companies for providing their time and perspective on the Where Women Want To Work initiative.

2010 Timeframe

Submissions opened Wednesday 5 May.
Confirmation of participation due 28 May.
Submission support and feedback throughout June.
Submissions close 9 July.
Where Women Want To Work 2010 Guide published September 2010.

How the 2010 initiative differs from previous years

The Where Women Want To Work 2010 initiative is only open to Aurora client companies in 2010. The online 2010 Guide will showcase how Aurora client companies attract, retain and develop female talent.
